Reporting a claim
To handle claims, Surround is partnering with Sedgwick, the insurance industry's largest and most respected claims administrator.
Members can file claims by contacting Sedgwick directly at any time, day or night. The fastest way to submit a claim is through the Web Portal, using the access code "Surround." Or, if the member would like to speak to a person, they can submit the claim by phone at 844.998.2134.
Within 24 hours of the claim being filed, Sedgwick will be in touch with the claimant to let them know what happens next.
Claim in process
As soon as we receive notice that your member has filed a claim, we will add the "Open Claim" status to their account so you can search across your members by this status or view it on an individual claim. Once the claim is closed, we change the status to "Closed Claim."
At any time, the member can reach out to their assigned Sedgwick adjuster for the status or questions about their claim. If they have any additional questions, or you do, give us a call or send us an email and we'll get you an answer.
