Got a prospect that is stuck in the system? Need to help a member change their credit card? Curious how many prospects have become members? There’s a number of actions that you as their agent can do to help prospects and members get their full value out of Surround Insurance.
Instructions:
• Search for a prospect or member
• View information for an individual prospect or member
• What if my prospect or member needs help with their subscription?
Search for a prospect or member
Use the Prospect/Member search module to find who you are looking for.
For Prospects, you can search by:
- Name or email
- Status dropdown
- Start date—you can search a range of dates to find prospects added in a certain time period
For Members, you can search by:
- Name or email
- Status dropdown
- Date—you can search a range of start dates
View information for an individual prospect or member
Every prospect and member will have a preview of their most important status listed when you search them. Click on the name (or email) of any prospect or member to review their individual profile page.
For prospects, they will not be able to log into the Member Portal until they pay and e-sign their policy. Once they’ve filled out a section of their information, it will be updated on their individual prospect page.

- Quote complete

- Late payment
- E-sign incomplete
- Renewal pending
- Open claim
- Open service issue
- Cancelled

What if my prospect or member needs help with their subscription?
Prospect page
For prospects, you can review their status and:
- Re-send the sign up email
- Send a reminder email to complete their quote
- Call them to encourage completion of the quote (must have prospect’s phone number)
Here is an example of an individual Prospect page. The user icon be grey and have a dashed line. None of the other modules will be editable or display any live data.
Member page
For members, you have a greater degree of control and can help. You can help them with:
- Getting their documents
- Changing their credit card
- Adding a preferred name
- Updating their phone number
Here is an example of an individual Member page. The user icon be green and have a solid line. This is designed with the same components as the Member’s page, this will help you discuss how to navigate the member portal. Some of the other modules will be editable, and all will display live data.
